Mrs Kolo was born on 16 July 1966. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Languages and Linguistics (French) in 1988. She further enhanced her expertise by earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in 1989, followed by a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Administration and Planning in 1992.
In 1997, she completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing, equipping her with advanced knowledge in strategic management, marketing, and organisational leadership.
Mrs Kolo began her professional career as a Graduate Assistant at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where she served from 1989 to 1992. She subsequently joined the Federal Ministry of Education, serving at King’s College, Lagos, from 1993 to 1995, contributing to educational administration and institutional development.
In 1996, she transitioned into the private sector as the Managing Director of La Reine Investment Limited, a position she held until 2017. During her tenure, she provided strategic leadership, drove business expansion, and oversaw the company’s operational and commercial growth.
Her international executive experience includes serving as Managing Director, Phoenix Africa, under Phoenix Media (United Kingdom) from 2019 to 2021, where she led the organisation’s African operations and strengthened cross-border business initiatives.
Since 2022, Mrs Kolo has served as the Managing Director of Biolegacy Nigeria Limited, where she continues to provide visionary leadership, guide corporate strategy, and promote innovation
and sustainable business development.
Mrs Kolo is recognised for her extensive experience in executive management,
