Dr Ojeka-John holds a PhD in Communication and Media Studies and has extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic mentorship within higher education.
Her research explores the intersection of communication, strategic and health communication, media literacy, societal development, digital innovation, and artificial intelligence for communication among underserved populations.
She is a Women Techsters Fellow (UI/UX Design) and holds professional certification in User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) Design through Tech4Dev, equipping her with expertise in user-centred design, digital learning, and educational technology.
Dr Ojeka-John has authored and co-authored scholarly publications in reputable national and international journals and serves as a peer reviewer for academic journals in the fields of communication and media studies.
She is a member of some professional bodies, including the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN), and the International Communication Association (ICA), among others.
She serves as the Lead Curriculum Development Consultant for the Neptune Prime Institute of Journalism and a member of its Academic Advisory Board, where she contributes to curriculum design, quality assurance, and the continuous improvement of innovative, industry-responsive journalism education.
