
Mrs Kida was born on 13th May 1966 in Kaduna, Nigeria. She is a Nigerian legal professional with experience in banking, management, and international relations.
She began her early education at Shehu Garbai Primary School, Maiduguri, where she studied from 1970 to 1977. She later attended Government Girls College, Maiduguri, from 1977 to 1982 and continued her tertiary education at the University of Maiduguri, where she obtained a Diploma in Law in 1984 and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree in 1988.
In 1990, she was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor by the Council of Legal Education, Lagos, Nigeria.
After completing her legal education, she served in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with the Ministry of Justice, Sokoto State. In 1992, she began her professional career with Afribank Nigeria Plc as an Executive Assistant. Through hard work and dedication, she rose to the position of Pro Manager before resigning from the bank in 2000.
She continued to develop herself academically by pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at the University of Maiduguri during the 1998/1999 academic session. She later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from the same university in the 1999/2000 academic session.
She gained international work experience at DAR EL TEB Hospital in Cairo, Egypt, where she worked as a Relationship Manager, building and strengthening relationships between Nigeria and Egypt for 12 years. She returned to Nigeria in 2019 with valuable experiences and memories.
Mrs Kida enjoys meeting new people and sharing ideas with individuals who have positive and inspiring visions. Her hobbies include travelling and entertainment due to her passion for exploring new places and experiencing different cultures.
She is married to Muhammad Elsayeed Barakat, and the union is blessed with a daughter.
